Pretty gruesome post. Don't read if you get squeamish.
So this isn't the greatest picture, but it definitely shows what happens to me every single time I give blood. Nobody can ever find my veins, and of course you can't go in the hands, so it makes it difficult to not bruise me. It took 3 different people to finally get it. But I feel selfish by saying that I don't want to donate because I'm O+ (universal donor).

Oh, you're so good to do that! They didn't want my blood for the year after I had Sam because I had transfusions - maybe even from some generous O+ person like yourself :) The birthday party pics are darling!
