I turned 30 last Saturday and boy do I feel old.  It probably has something to do with the fact that I'm older than my husband.  He is now telling me that I'm plateauing before I go over the hill.  Not my favorite phrase but it does make me laugh.  

This year I can't eat dairy so my wonderful mom-in-law made me a strawberry rhubarb pie.  It was amazing.  The only problem was it was RICH.  I'm sure it would have been even better with ice cream.  Oh well, I have to learn to do without.

 Eli helped me blow out my candles.  (Sorry about the pictures, all taken on my phone. The camera died).

 Heidi was also kind enough to make cupcakes (she didn't think 1 pie would feed 30 people).  This year it was these adorable dragonflies.
